Jeremy M. Thomas, DPM, DABMSP, attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was awarded his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2006. Dr. Hurst completed his surgical residency at the Dekalb Medical Center in Decatur, Georgia (2006-2009), and received board certification in podiatric medicine & foot and ankle surgery from the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. He remains a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the North Carolina Foot & Ankle Society, and the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management. In addition to his podiatric medicine degree, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management with concentration on Exercise Science and Fitness Management acquired at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. Over the years, Dr. Thomas has participated in medical missions to El Salvador, where he performed multiple pro-bono reconstructive surgeries on children with clubfeet.
